Larry Page used them with google, seemed like it worked well. I was thinking the other day about it. Maybe the larger the organization and less the visionary can get into details, then the more OKRs are needed.

Yes, I think they’re inevitable when an org gets large. But that (to me) seems analogous to a lack of organic focus.

TBH this feels like a bit of a fad/obsession with a tool I think helps some and severely distracts me as a thoroughbred. Feels like a waste of time.

I just want to perform and trust others to do the same - meetings that include company leadership and top talent to review an excel spreadsheet make me want to scream
