I was highly skeptical about claims that ICOs would replace traditional VCs, but now all the VCs are leaving to start crypto funds so there might not be any VCs left and everyone will have to do ICOs to get funding.

Genuinely asking because I don't understand it. But I wonder why VCs launch crypto funds unless it's a marketing ruse for raising funds of their own. They get such incredible deals by getting ACTUAL equity. Legal rights, voting power, etc.

It’s because the global crypto market is lacking knowledge in the fundamentals of investing and look for getting rich through bullshit ICO scams and unfortunately most VCs are taking advantage of the uneducated...
