You can buy scale. Hard part is 1) managing complexity, which AMZN solved by outsourcing via Logistics program, and 2) building expertise, which means investing in loss. I doubt it - they have a preference to build vs buy unless the culture is incredibly compatible. Hard to imagine an LTL company that fits the bill.
