Hmm I feel like the odds are the same but the upside is way better with tech since marginal cost of adding users is low to zero unlike food. I have seen busy and popular restaurants go out of biz.

I’d bet that popular restaurants outside of extreme cost places like NYC/SF go out of business due to having too much space (high fixed costs) and/or too many things on the menu (inventory/spoilage). Small, popular restaurants w/limited menus don’t go under.
