The absence of unions usually result in abuse by Capital. The existence of unions usually result in abuse by Labour. Both of those statements indicate a failure of government to ensure the similtaneous welfare of Labour and Capital, which would drive growth.

This is one big problem of Industrialisation era which tried to separate management from field staff/ labour . The day field staff is involved and empowered to takes decisions that impacts company future and feels ownership through both involvement & rewards ..this will stop

The problem is that unions long ago morphed from bodies that ensured workers got fair pay and safe working conditions to entities that are almost solely concerned with self-preservation.
