TIL: AWS will send a *single* domain verification email, and if you don’t click the link, will send zero reminders and then suspend your domain without warning – at which point the email address you must verify now can’t receive email. Recovered now, but this was insane.

We've found that most EDI sample files – even those provided by Amazon Retail – don't conform to the implementation guides that accompany them. With this launch, users of Stedi Guides – our in-browser implementation guide product – can ensure that their samples always pass.

Stedi Guides just got even better. Each interactive EDI specification now supports sample files. Your trading partners can view and edit samples directly in their browsers to learn requirements and debug errors fast.

Journalists don't seem to understand that neither +$240m nor -$83m moves the needle for a firm of Sequoia's size, nor that if growth stage firms made a habit of selling investments after a 2x gain, it would break the entire model.

As the administration swoops in to save us from CFLs, you may recall that CFLs were “phased in” to begin with by the same party in 2007, shortly before the market provided vastly superior LED lightbulbs on its own accord.

When human action triggers an incident in a software system, engineers conduct a root cause analysis to determine it depended on best effort/intention. When the same thing happens in political systems, the same engineers conclude the root cause is the wrong person in charge.

Elon's unaccountable suspending of accounts should serve as a lesson to those who supported Twitter’s opaque censorship under the previous regime. Any system of controlling speech will not be yours forever, so create the system as if it could be inherited by your worst enemy.
