Is it possible that QAnon is so off the charts bonkers crazy that it inadvertently gets Dems elected? QAnon’s predictions have failed 100% of the time, and a movement with such a consistent rate of failure can’t survive on a large scale for a long time.

That's not the point at all. With a normal politician, if you had a potential "gotcha" question, but the way you asked it gave an easy escape, you'd blame the questioner. The example here is slightly different, but the principal is the same.
