This is a terrible tragedy and awful end to a brutal year. It is a system failure that resulted in irreversible harm to two families. My heart goes out to the families of the victims. We will hold the man who did this accountable. We will support the families of the victims

Replying to @sf_kerry @chesaboudin
Proud to continue to trust & support
@chesaboudin as he makes vital changes to our criminally unjust mass incarceration system, both releasing prisoners in response to this pandemic, and reforming our use of overcrowded mass incarceration.#DefundThePolice to make society safer.pic.twitter.com/G5IJZmYUOX30 replies 0 retweets 6 likes -

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. That might be dramatic, but so is what’s happening in SF right now. It’s insane that residents are now normalized to all the craziness and lawlessness on the streets. Police need to be accountable, but also able to do their jobs.
