If we are "friends" or you like some of the movies and shows I blast about you will ♥️ #YouPeople . It's a comedy. It's supposed to be funny - that's it. Anyone trying to make it more will hate it.

Any of my awesome followers have experience with a standing desk converter? Something I can put on an existing desk that will raise & lower monitors / keyboard when I need to take a break from sitting #gettingoldsucks

Sorry Mark, but it’s just time that we stop the acceptance & tolerance of veiled hate. If the comment here was about a kid with cancer I’d see your point, but we all know what’s going on here and it enough already. Stop spreading hate

The hyper focus on just results in sports comes at the expense of embracing players’ humanity. Mind, Body, & Spirit. All these go into being an athlete and are all part of their story. Otherwise, we might as well just write about robot battles.

For the life of me I don’t understand how someone can write something like this. The world would be such a better place if we all just follows the golden rule

No wonder The Athletic is losing money and laying off staff by the truckload. There are lots of real hockey stories out there that are ignored for this kind of thing. twitter.com/Burkie2020/sta…

🤔 Subway- the smell makes me 🤢; is Mr. Sub still a thing? If I had to eat at Jimmy Johns I could, PotBelly is right there with Subway. Jersey Mikes?? Definitely never been, not sure I've never seen one

Don’t let someone throw a video out of context at you and get you upset. You’re an incredible talent man and I’d love to see you make the most of that. I hope to see you continue to get better and be great for a long time. I wish I had even a tiny speck of the talent you do.

This just more headline grabbing bullshit. TNT has aired 36 games so far this season compared to 20 at the same point last year. But last year they had no local blackouts, and this year they do, and in all the big markets (Boston, Pittsburgh, NYC). So of course the numbers are📉

Interesting development in the NHLPA exec director search. Sources say Marty Walsh, current US Secretary of Labor is believed to be the top candidate. The NHLPA Board will meet tomorrow to further discuss. A vote is required by the board to complete the process.

The only time I notice the gambling ads is when the same ad repeats endlessly. I don't think that's driving away USA eyeballs

The gambling shit is a bit much too. I’m not clutching my pearls. But you can’t watch an intermission without odds and props. You can’t even read an article most of the time without odds plastered everywhere.

Hard cap, diminishing physical play/intensity, lack of diversity amongst players (stylistic & background), constant bottom of the roster turnover, playoff format and refusal of players to standout off the ice combining for a lethal cocktail in a competitive entertainment market

In 🇨🇦 I don't know if ratings are down like this - I can look. However the leafs /bolts round 1 playoff matchup eventuality makes watching regularly unnecessary as does lack of playoff success. The fact McDavid's been awarded the MVP b4 ASG can't help either. In the USA

Speaking as a leafs fan a few things: -no point in watching regular season games when only playoffs matter -when grandparents are asking about IPTV because cable is too expensive and blackouts (akin to taxi drivers giving stock picks) you have a problem -too many gambling ads

They could look at all sorts of things, 1. Deep dives into teams that are rebuilding and the centerpieces, 2. Take a look at teams that are loaded and either what they need to do/add to get over the top 3. Dissect the upcoming draft and who to watch from team perspectives ect

Be honest. Given the entire season thus far - what should they have talked about ? Not being a smart a$$ asking seriously. Besides the McDavid season… hanging Bruce out to dry…

I watch Around the Horn and PTI somewhat regularly and they almost never talk about the NHL. In fact, they discuss it less than they did before when they didn't have the rights. The most they ever did was at the various peaks of the Crosby/Ovechkin rivalry.

This is the type of response one hopes the right people are paying attention to. I believe the biggest miss is the watered down/meaningless regular season resulting in the tragic loss of almost all rivalries but Avery is the fan the league and network should be paying attention 2

1. Make the sport more accessible to view with no blackouts 2. Remove awful digital boards 3. Allow players to have personality by wearing more adventurous fashion choices and asking better interview questions 4. Hire new TV hosts. Like Subban. 5. Stop allowing blatant homophobia
