The gap in leadership, competency, & compassion between Nicola Sturgeon & Boris Johnson has never been wider than it is today. There's things I disagree with, but she takes responsibility & is honest about the challenges ahead. Given public trust is vital, that matters.

The impression Johnson delivered? That he still has not learned that taking action early is what beats a pandemic. Contrast with Nicola Sturgeon, who has clearly done her homework. Only one of them is right, and every medical adviser knows which one it is.

Nicola Sturgeon deserves three weeks on a Spanish island with an endless supply of books and wine at the end of this. What a woman.

If this is true then roughly according to the numbers I can find the income part would be 228.4 billion and the spending part would be 71.8 billion. You can't compare percentages of different numbers directly...

Those attacking Denise Welch should remember she comes from the former steel town of devastated 40 years ago by the Tories. Thatcher promised to lift the axe from the steelworks if it turned a profit for three months running. It did but Tories lied & can't be trusted.

Personal news: Our firstborn child, Jonathan, died early this morning when his heart stopped beating due to a severe brain injury he received Tuesday afternoon. My wife Genece and I were at his side. He was 14. We love him and miss him so much, and we hope he is at peace.
