I don’t worry about acute stressors’ effect on my psyche. I worry about chronic stressors. Whenever possible, I amortize the process of dealing with psychological issues.

It’ll all work out. Writing is a good way to concretize thoughts so that you can look at them while in different states of mind. Also, much of the human experience is universal. Public writing isn’t so different from private writing.

Logan — Might I reccomend a book? Implicit in this thread are questions. Think you’ll find “The Sufi Path of Love” by William Chittick an interesting window. —When I read such books, I don’t get hung up on labels, and just read for the merit of its perspective and ideas.

I always enjoy hearing your thoughts! Many of the people in my life this year have been surprised by my expression of emotions, as they aren’t used to it. Still working on it, for sure. It’s about the process, not the result.
