"It’s an extremely difficult thing to do, because at times, it made you angry that life has a special capability to kick you so much more when you’re down." It took me a long time to gain enough maturity to accept and process this anger. I still struggle sometimes.
Hearing your story makes me feel blessed that my banal circumstances occurred as they did. The night can always get darker.

At the risk of sounding morose, I have to agree, that the night can always get darker :) I try to remind myself this even though its tricky when one is right in the thick of it.
