The subscribe button and most other surfaces on YouTube already show the abbreviated sub number, so this update will just bring consistency. You can still see your exact sub count in Studio!

Yeah I can understand but... why do it in the first place? Was this like a design or ergonomic issue back then? I feel like (as a viewer) showing the entire subcount can be a good thing to get excited at when a creator you love is about to reach an important milestone
