I think that "getting rid: of government requires evaluating: what does the government do for us? It may not be a matter of effort but creating a system that fulfills that role. Like a trusted, decentralized regulatory function that protects the consumers.

The word "trusted" does not exist in block chain. The problem block chain solves is Trust itself. Trust is replaced by contracts. By the end of this, ppl will have more trust in technology, algorithm n block chain than ppl right next to her.

If that is in place, then ideally we'd have a fair decentralized system that functions independent of individuals... eradicating "meritocrazy" :). Came up with that word myself!
