    I had a wonderful time marching with today and flyering for her too 🥳 Her parade energy (with ofc) was AMAZING, and so is her record of organizing & her vision for a truly progressive NY. We need her as the people’s Lieutenant Governor! LET’S GO 🙌

    These last 24 hours have been very difficult for New Yorkers, but I was pleased today to be able to join the AAPI Heritage Month March, which had a strong message of both uplifting AAPI communities and taking a stand against hate violence.

    I’m seeing a lot of unconfirmed reports about white supremacy. My attempts to report on the rise of Buffalo white supremacist factions are a major reason I am no longer working there. I’m not allowed to share more, but wish I could. We should’ve talked about this sooner.

    The Buffalo terrorist's manifesto is a piece of propaganda designed to spread and promote both his racist views and tactical tips for conducting mass murders. I'm obviously not going to link to it.

    For 25 years she ran a pantry to feed people every Saturday. Pearly Young was murdered while shopping for groceries.

    Pearly Young, 77, was killed today in shopping for groceries. For 25 years she ran a pantry where every Saturday she fed people in Central Park. Every. Saturday. She loved singing, dancing, & being with family. She was mother, grandma, & missionary. Gone too soon 🕊

    No, Mike. Because a white supremacist just drove three and a half hours to a black community in Buffalo in order to mass murder, in an act of domestic terrorism, ten people in a fucking grocery store shopping for food to purposefully strike fear in a community.
