Conclusions: ChatGPT is surprisingly useful for debugging and boilerplate. Need to manually review everything to avoid introducing garbage code. If you like this, I'll share more ChatGPT stuff in the future. 6/6

Refactor: After finishing writing tests and making the code work, I asked ChatGPT to rewrite my new function in idiomatic Rust. It removed an unnecessary match block, and simplified a range. Shocking actually. 3/6

Debug: ChatGPT helped me debug a bound trait problem. It took a few iterations but would have taken me a lot of time digging through the docs to know what to try. `let start = start_after.map(|start| Bound::exclusive((start, bidder)));` 2/6

Stablecoins - the unsung hero of 2023. Ironic since algo-stables triggered the crash in 2022.

twitter pro tip I use a lot when you find someone new to follow, you can quickly read all their top tweets in search example "from:punk6529 min_faves:1000" gets you all of 's tweets that received at least 1,000 likes cool way to see someone's greatest hits

But I’d rather be long picks and shovels infrastructure businesses vs. specific projects in the NFT space, as almost nothing I’ve seen has established a “fundamental” driver of value beyond art, and the jury is still out on which art will have staying power.

A snippet from 2023 report: NFTs: Any given NFT project can go to zero, but NFTs as a data construct will eventually wrap around tens of trillions of dollars worth of assets. We’re at about $8 billion today, so there’s...uh... room to grow. 1/2

4\ Stargaze Names was built over multiple iterations dating back to 2020. It was requested by creators and users as the team has strong consumer product experience and an NFT-centric community. One thing the team learned, Twitter-only is a bad idea.

3\ Stargaze Names forward compatible since it has generic text records. These can be used for integrating other blockchains in the future.

Replying to @Nostradamus411 @sunnya97 and 12 others
Stargaze Names is also forward compatible since it has generic text records which can be used to associate a non-118 address with a suffix. This is how we plan on supporting ENS for example. More details here: mirror.xyz/stargazezone.e

2\ Interoperability is an important feature of any name service. When Osmosis asked us about Stargaze Names, we offered to add support to Keplr ourselves.

1\ When talking with Osmosis about ICNS, we encountered a design deadlock. Osmosis wanted Twitter lock in, 1 year wait time, lack of market dynamics, no DAO or NFT collection integration. Can't cooperate when there are two visions with little overlap.

"critical mass of working pieces" is not static but "constantly coming together". fiat payments are slowly opening up through a mixture of regulatory action, lawsuits, and blockchain.
