isn't this because it uses OAUTH? I have to admit, I didn't sign up because I hated the permissions it wanted.

Hope so. Didn’t have time to explore all their login/signup web services. But security 101, only thyself shall know own password.

yeah, because if they captured it when you typed it in that would be VERY bad. But OAUTH doesn't do that, thankfully.
