    🎊🎉 TODAY IS A BIG DAY!! 👍 The Committee of Ministers of the adopted the new Youth sector strategy 2030 which will provide policy guidance to the 50 States Parties to the European Cultural Convention for the ten years to come.

    The National Assembly for Wales has just voted to lower the voting age. This means that 16 & 17 year olds in Wales will now have the right to vote in Senedd elections from 2021 onwards. This is a great success for !

    Hong Kong's youth are bearing the brunt of state violence; a teen protester was shot in the chest this week. Yet the state has used "child protection" laws to remove some protesters from their families. We need a new framework for children's rights ASAP.

    Today at 11:30 I and 15 other children from around the world filed a legal complaint against 5 nations over the climate crisis through the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. These 5 nations are the largest emitters that have ratified the convention.

    I find this picture so incredibly moving. This is aged 15, sat alone outside the Swedish Parliament Aug 2018 - the first school strike. In just one year, she’s created a wave that will change the whole world. Never underestimate the power of one young person 💜💚
