If you have a platform I think you should take it upon yourself to educate yourself before you tell your audience because most likely, you are their source for information.

Example: Keto dieting was a HUGE fad. Everyone swore by it and did it without really looking into it. Do you know how much research shows how bad this is for you? Now what if an influencer documents their weight loss on this diet, how many people would try it?

I know the whole “I didn’t tell them to do something” or “I didn’t ask for this, I will say what I want”. This is more about being aware that what you say can and will influence someone else so wouldn’t you want the best for them?

With the Logan Pauls of the world having platforms and influence over MILLIONS of people... now IMAGINE if they used their platforms for awareness and education along with their normal content. That could literally snow ball into society changing effects.
