    No matter how you spin it, the US' demand to NK boils down to: "You disarm first while we hit you with sanctions." Ask yourself. Would you do that if you were in their position? Happy New Year to all of you!

    Japan's diplomacy toward Korea has been pretty ham-fisted this year. Its stances on historical issues, overblown reaction to gwanggaeto & meddling in inter-Korean rapprochement have convinced the Koreas they have a common enemy & hurt chances of building alliance of democracies.

    KCNA: "Japan had better control its tongue, aware of where it is standing in the international arena. Regretfully, Japan cannot take part in the dialogue over the issue of the Korean peninsula. This is because it is bat-blind in politics."

    Savvy moves by Kim Jong Un in his remarks, setting the United States up to be seen as the obstacle to continued inter-Korean progress if it doesn't go with this.

    How about we measure the range of US aircrafts stationed in Europe & gulf then look at russia & iran fears that this deployment directed towards them. Worse, russia is deploying them on it's land while US is 10k km away from its land. Russphobia at it's best.
