I wish Europe had a better train system, perhaps modeled after China's new trains / Shinkansen. To visit a neighbouring country I'd take the comfort of a train over a plane any day.

The Shinkansen covers 500km in 3.5hrs on the Tokyo-Osaka line. That's about the same distance as Berlin-Copenhagen by land. The total time it takes to get from city center to city center is: 30+60+45+30 mins by plane. Going by train would be about the same time, but more chill

Replying to @yoshuawuyts
They're building a tunnel between Denmark and Germany that is expected to cut train time by 2hrs.
