Oh no - actually I don't! Using gvim here because of the copy-paste support on Linux, but should be fully compatible with vim8 :D

haha yeah, agree it sounds confusing. Believe it's because nvim was the first to get async support, and they probably kept the name once vim8 added it too. Welp, haha.
