Haha, yeah I should probably fix the worker. I suspect I didn't update the hash, and now it's a bit grumpy or something haha. Try opening it in incognito mode, should be good then

But, now that I've actually read the articles, why would you prefer vector clocks (additional state) over (deep) state comparison?

In order to do a full state comparison, you must keep a (partial) copy of the previous state around. Not just once, but for every component in the tree that touches that state. Comparing numbers plays especially well with mutable state.

Vector clocks also have the benefit that you can make the comparison logic in your app part of your stores/controllers. The less logic we put in our views, the easier they become to modify and change around.
