Want: Rust port of https://github.com/rvagg/ghauth .
Hehe - that might be tricker than you think. There's lots of things that are common in JS that wouldn't have a place in Rust. The language is very much its own. But perhaps wrapping around common APIs would be a good place to start. Unix, web, services - any would work! :D

Feeling that a lot of the things that take time is converting stuff from a "stringly typed API" into a "strongly typed API". HTTP endpoints are just a bunch of plain-text things that we have to coerce to mean things. Wrapping around these is great. Same with disk formats too!
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

yea for sure there's lots of differences, but with wasm-bindgen there's a lot of opportunity to port "webby" things in a type-safe manner. and there's lots of utilities out there that could be rebuilt/improved (even something like webpack, maybe?) so many possibilities!

I've already ported one of my silly projects over (https://github.com/rickycodes/retrorecord … from https://github.com/rickycodes/whatmeplaying …) and i found the experience quite enjoyable (:
