Nice list. Out of curiosity given electron can provide security issues, why an electron app and not a pwa?

haha, well yeah right now it's closer to "cross platform, lightweight applications". There's a whole class of stuff native apps can do that browsers can't. Particularly in terms of filesystem / networking access.
