Damn, yeah - someone should really do a full port of libsodium to Rust. All of the existing bindings are: 1. Incomplete, there's lots of functions missing. 2. Can't compile to WASM without unstable hacks. Would be a fun opportunity to learn more about crypto!

haha, worse - unstable LLVM behavior. Binding external WASM libs into Rust's WASM output isn't really, errr, intended yet. And also isn't a priority for the forseeable future.
