Good: ANSI color code in command lines. Less good: emojis in command lines. Why? Unicode support is _still_ not universal, which means it isn't great for portability. It's a tradeoff that might not always be worth it. It's good to think about, at least.

i wonder about making a tool that allows backwards-compat for emojis, just like how you can strip ansi color codes. Pick a small subset of emojis, which can be converted to a 3-char counterpart. eg.
--> :rbw:
--> :sax:
