Does anyone have any good resources on lights? Going shopping for a good set for the living room, and not sure what to look for. I know top lights aren't supposed to be good, but that's about it hmmm.

For your home you want soft light. Light overhead isn't the worst thing, it's just usually too hard. The bigger the fixture the softer the light. Anything that bounces or diffuses the light is good. Also, you want warmer colors, never daylight. This is what my degree is in.

My friend was working here and I remember they had really rad lights. They are pricey, though. https://www.norr11.com/en/lamps If you want cheap, go to Mauerpark or some of the antique flea markets or Ikea....
