I'm sceptical of conferences that take sponsorship money from Google AMP.
You can't both celebrate the open web, and promote a technology which actively works against it.
Accepting sponsorship is a form of endorsement.

This is not directed at any conference in particular. I don't know which confs will be accepting AMP money this year. But it's worth talking about. AMP should not be normalized.

I feel there's two conversations to be had here: 1. Is Google AMP indeed a hostile technology? 2. Is it okay if a "good" actor accepts money from a "bad" actor in exchange for promotion? (Does the end justify the means?)
