I don't think thats the problem (servo is awesome project), the problem is that so many basic things are broken in this UI that you can't take it seriously. Skype desktop is also trying this. I have the feeling HTML UI's aren't actually helping us make better software.

Sure it helps 'marketing team' make visual changes quicker, but apparently making sure the interaction statespace works 'at all' in respect to text inputs, scrolling, animations is a task that is beyond humans.
