Tried out lit-html today. Definitely wouldn't mind this becoming a web standard. It works around some shortcomings in HTML properly (but I guess so do all other vdoms). A core part of lit-html - <template>s with dynamic part - is being standardized: https://github.com/w3c/webcomponents/blob/gh-pages/proposals/Template-Instantiation.md … lit-html will be much smaller and faster with that. Just a JS interface on top.
Heh, yeah I'm definitely eyeing to update @4kilobytes to use this when the spec is accepted!
Speaking of which: any estimate how long the process might take to land it?
