The benefit of it all, is that once learned the structure can be applied everywhere. I guess that is the inherent tradeoff of "declarative programming". Perhaps good assertions in the decorator might make this more friendly for "trial-and-error" programming?
Was riffing on decorators for Choo components - think this might be interesting. https://gist.github.com/yoshuawuyts/d4de251dab69431300ccde186640f0b0 … Not sure how I feel about all the internal lifecycle stuff it adds. The connection between the decorator and the methods & properties is a things that needs to be learned.
