heh, this is pretty close to what I was thinking! If you're free sometime this week we should like hang out / talk this through (back in Berlin later today!) :D Feel this could easily be an afternoon hack if all the constraints are known :D

i18next (as supported widely client, server, mobile) with https://locize.com as translation management (no fix cost, feature rich, all needed formats xliff, json, …, i18next, icu, i18n-js support for plurals,…)

Transifex has come up a few times. We’ve built custom rolling around their API. Works well for non-technical translators.

I've been searching for this and founf two browser apis https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Intl … https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/i18n … The last one is only availaible for browser extensions, but still is a nice api imo
