Never though arch would be that different from Debian. I'm thinking Debian is so simple now

Haha, well so i feel Debian is *easy*. Arch on the other hand is *simple*. Neither is better, just got very different priorities :D

What did you use? I used to use wireless-tools + wpa_supplicant directly, ala https://wiki.debian.org/WiFi/HowToUse#wpa_supplicant … but now most of my gear uses NetworkManager and nm-applet to control it. I resisted nm for a long time.
