Oh yeah, that's cool! — not so much advocating for a particular solution here, just saying _any_ solution would be better than what we have right now. We need a foundation-blessed toolchain manager.
Yeah I agree, the same way bundling npm with Node was an excellent idea. Sure, it kind of killed the competition to solve this particular problem, but it brought so much in terms of usability that it was totally worth it. Just wanted to mention nodenv because I enjoy using it :-)
