Ah! Maybe it's because integrity checks can only be enforced on link rel=stylesheet, and we change it from preload -> stylesheet afterwards!

Yeah, this must be it. Solves FireFox issues too. Not sure how to combine CSS integrity checks with preloading assets now tho :/ — buhh
