Looked briefly at the
@browserify API. Seems like it doesn't provide a simple synchronous API?
No yeah, it's all async (because of streams) — perhaps easier to test the acorn parser?

Hah, well so unlike other systems, each transform is BYO parser. I'm not sure which parser browserify uses but a lot of ecosystem is Acorn
