I wonder why most (micro)services don't enjoy the same craft and dedication that CLIs have. They're the same thing; different name.

When services fail, often you'll be lucky to have a stack trace. Descriptive errors & explicit deps matter so much. Wish it was the standard

Although even CLIs often fail without a proper message or just hang indefinitely. Good, consistent error handling is hard.
