I dig GraphQL as an idea - it deffo makes APIs easier to evolve. Legit wish that composing queries on the client was easier tho.

Does it? With persisted static queries you can strip out nearly all client overheard at build time
Oh, that sounds neat - was thinking something similar, but figured it still needs an encoder. Got a link for further reading?
