After every iPhone event, I'm reminded that people like to shit on Android phones without even keeping up with the actual devices.

Like this pixelated meme going around. I'm just gonna say that many tech reviews said that the Pixel XL had the best smartphone camera.

Additionally, many Android devices removed the physical home button years ago. And the fingerprint sensor is normally on the back.

More ergonomically friendly. Same gesture I'd use to hold a phone to my face would unlock my phone. And let's not gloss over Smart Lock.

Google's upped their game over the last few years. My friends who switched to the Pixel XL or OnePlus love it & most prefer it to an iPhone.

Apple hasn't released anything that amazing for me to be compelled to try them out, to be honest. Vanilla Android runs great.

All I see from the Apple keynote is a hardware catch-up and gimmicky software features. But none that add value to my day to day life.

So until Apple figures out a way to fix that, I'm gonna keep on buying Nexus / Pixel devices.
