Do you know about conventional-changelog and its ecosystem? I believe this module exists...

I didn't! Just checked it, and not seeing a bot unfortunately. Also relies on angular-style commits for everyone it seems :(

yeah, tried it a couple of times over the past few months but it always hangs for me. Also doesn't help when contribs do releases
