Are you referring to thunks or promises? And what makes either one worse in node?
Promises - catching panics is not good; also there's still no good solution for warnings on unhandled rejection :(

I always felt that rejected promises without a `then` *should* throw, unless explicitly opt-ed in with a `rejectQuietly` or something
