every bit of rendering is chopped up into small pieces, and then those pieces are batched in just the right size so you always get 60fps
APIs used for this are mostly requestIdleCallback() and requestAnimationFrame() with a custom stack data structure.

My take on it: even though it sounds great on paper, in practice it ends up being a lot of code to ship, and consume too much CPU

if ux is defined by fps, and fps is optimized, why would cpu usage matter?
