Is there a way to get a function trace in Xcode? Like dtruss/strace, but not just syscalls? I couldn’t get llvm-xray to work.

thanks, I’ve found what I needed by pausing the debugger ;D — now I have a mysterious select() call and an fd int, but no idea what that is
Not sure if useful, but check out async_hooks if you haven't already. Node-specific, but it can help tell what's going on from a high level
