What's the USR1 signal? Lolol.
It's like "user defined signal 1" - does something custom; in the case of caddy it just reloads config, and then resolves SSL leases, etc.

And that can be hacked up to be a wildcard SSL? >_> I wanna make sure its secure still, lol.

Yeah, I think so - afaik there's no upper cap to the amount of subdomains you can get through letsencrypt - just no no wildcards
