it's interesting to see how the performance is difference between the modules written in N-API, wasm, and JavaScript.
@mafintosh mentioned that anything using 64 bit ints will be sped up a lot by WASM compared to native; that stuff might be the sweet spot

Lots of things can be tweaked to use 64 bit algorithms also. Bitfields for example can be implemented to do this.

Most of the time you cannot just trivially port something to wasm and expect it to be faster. You need to look at the instructions etc
