Torrent on the other hand thrives on sharing. The more people participate the more robust it gets. It punishes people that take & don't give
The hard part with this is how to make money. How do you make money off abundance? With scarcity it's much clearer; which is why VC likes it

To conclude: I'm highly sceptical of the societal benefits blockchains provide. Something is not revolutionary if it only benefits a few

I can see a lot of benefit - IF the blockchain provides transparency - but i guess exactly that is not necessary at all :/
