Guess "abundance" is a better word than "wealth"
In order for the blockchain to have value, it must limit access to it. E.g. scarcity is part of design.

Torrent on the other hand thrives on sharing. The more people participate the more robust it gets. It punishes people that take & don't give

The hard part with this is how to make money. How do you make money off abundance? With scarcity it's much clearer; which is why VC likes it

And scarcity is created by consuming enormous amounts of energy, to do very limited work. Which is repugnant.
