babelify + transform-es2015-modules-commonjs (for fallback) turns gzip up to 9.38 kB :/
Rough :( that's well over double the size. Don't think choo/html should be served btw, without compiling it out it's not that fast unforch

It would be nice to feel what modern dev could feel like without a build step. Maybe save that for prod?

think it's important that for modern dev we support an offline-first workflow. All deps working locally / be cached - think that's possible?
