...if so, then duplication can be avoided by how "styletron" does it. ...and often used styles can be `required` & used in template literals

the idea is that you get a feel for the classes, they're shaped in such a way that usually you can guess which class you need

If you want to use the absolute minimum amount of css I think css in js solutions make a lot more sense than tachyons.

Not necessarily true, with https://github.com/purifycss/purifycss … you can prune all unused styles so you'll end up at the same size as manually writing it

I said I think it makes more sense, not that it isn't possible to strip out unused styles. Css in js comes with lots of other benefits too.
